Set within a leafy Armadale streetscape, this project explores how thoughtful interior design can bring clarity, warmth, and cohesion to a large-scale contemporary residence.
Working within an architect-designed framework defined by expansive volumes, full-height glazing and a strong material language, the interiors respond by softening and refining these elements, balancing architectural generosity with calm, liveable spaces.
The design approach centres on spatial cohesion and material continuity. Open-plan living areas are carefully articulated through proportion, furniture planning, and subtle zoning, rather than physical division. This allows both the architecture and the surrounding garden outlook to remain central to the experience of the home.
A restrained palette of soft mineral tones, oak and Tundra marble establishes a sense of visual continuity throughout. These materials are complemented by deeper accents and layered textures, introducing richness and depth while maintaining an overall sense of calm.
The result is a refined and enduring interior that gently mediates scale through restraint and careful composition. By prioritising durability, timeless materials and spatial clarity, the home is designed to support everyday living while remaining quietly sophisticated and relevant over time.
